DANGEROUS ISLANDS is a downloadable adventure game for Windows.

This game can also be played by 2 players on different computers (PEER-TO-PEER). You can play it on LAN/WLAN or over the Internet. No game server is needed.

THE STORY

After a failed experiment, the space-time continuum was damaged. Suddenly you find yourself on a tropical island in a time long gone. The island is very unstable and will sink into the depths of the ocean. It's only a matter of time. Soon you realize that five treasure chests have also been teleported onto the island. Time will tell if you will need them.

You must succeed in leaving the island. This is the only way to repair the damage to the space-time continuum. Your opponent is a Viking. Like you, he was teleported to the island with five treasure chests and tries to escape the impending catastrophe. There's a pirate ship near the coast. It can transport only one person and the captain will only take you with him if you give him at least five chests filled with gold. By a lucky coincidence, you are in possession of exactly five treasure chests. Unfortunately, they come from the future and you can't pay the captain with them. Your opponent also owns five treasure chests. These come from the past and are therefore also unusable for him. You, the treasure chests and the captain must be located on the same timeline, because only then he will take you with the ship. To accomplish this, you need the treasure chests of your opponent. Of course, your opponent also knows that he can only leave the island with the help of your treasure chests.

THE GAME

Place your five treasure chests on the island. Don't make it too easy for your opponent to find them.
Take care of your health. You need food and drinking water.
Avoid steep terrain. This way, you will need less drinking water.
You must be careful, because there are dangers that can be deadly to you.
Stay away from your opponent. If you get too close to him, the space-time continuum will collapse.
Only after you have placed all your treasure chests, you will be able to search for the treasure chests which meanwhile were placed by your opponent somewhere on the island.
Hurry up! If your opponent finds your treasure chests faster and leaves the island with the pirate ship, there is no way for you to return to the present.
